Are Omni-Zorb products truly fragrance, perfume, and chemical free?

Yes. We realize that there are products on the market that claim to be free from these additives but that actually contain other families of ingredients that are just as problematic to some, even though they don't technically fall into one of these categories. Omni-Zorb and ZeoFresh products are all completely free of harmful additives.

Our dry materials, whether in "rock" form, powder, or granule, contains only the highest grade of pure zeolite, mined from our quarry in the American Southwest and tested continually for purity. Here are links to two articles on zeolite that may help.

All zeolites are not created equal

Omni-Zorb Liquid is a natural accelerator, unlike any other deodorizing spray on the market. It contains no chemicals, enzymes, or fragrances of any kind. In fact, first time users may feel that it is not doing anything to alleviate an odor problem as it has no smell and at first, odors will still be apparent. However, within a 24-72 hours, odors will dissipate as Omni-Zorb speeds up nature's own deodorizing process. It is a remarkable product.

How do Omni-Zorb pouches work?

Zeolite is nature's best adsorbent/absorbent mineral. It's microscopic honeycomb structure captures pollutant as they pass over its surface and traps them. Solar energy or heat causes zeolite to expand and release trapped particulates. As long as you keep a good circulation of air passing over our pouches, they will clean the air. Recharge in the sun every 6-8 weeks and they will continue to work for years.

Do your deodorizing Fridge-Packs really save electricity?

Yes, and the way they work makes perfect sense. Zeolite absorbs moisture as well as odors and gasses. Absorbing airborne moisture lowers humidity levels. Refrigerators have their own humidity control systems. For instance, when you open a refrigerator door, humidity rushes in from the room outside. This causes the refrigerator's condenser to turn on and the electrical system so that it can again reduce the humidity. Since Fridge-Pack rapidly absorbs humidity, it lets the refrigerator reach its optimal levels more quickly, at which time the condenser turns off. Shorter condenser running times equals less electricity used. But that's not all... Zeolite also releases humidity if the levels get too low, so Fridge-Pack naturally maintains optimum levels, while keeping your foods tasting better. Fridge-Packs also absorb ethylene gas, which is released by ripening produce. The absorption off this gas from the surrounding air slows the ripening process of fruits and vegetables, increasing their storage shelf-life.
