Omni-Zorb Dry products are formulated from a mineral called zeolite that naturally attracts and absorbs many times its weight in odors, gasses, and moisture. We mine, process, and package our zeolite from the most pure, unadulterated quarry in America. This is important: There are dozens of zeolite deposits. Most are contaminated with non-zeolite volcanic ash which reduces its effectiveness. Some zeolite, because of its absorbent properties, has become contaminated in nature by absorbing nearby pollutants. Our zeolite is pure and is constantly tested to assure the quarry is maintaining its purity.

Omni-Zorb Dry is also effective in absorbing residual chemical and solvent odors, and it is ideal for eliminating vinyl and plastic out-gassing that is so common in modern manufactured products.

Using Omni-Zorb pouches in conjunction with a centralized air and heating system can eliminate airborne contaminants from an entire residence or office. As your central air circulation system works, our zeolite pouches will slowly sweep smoke, mold spores, perfumes, and other odors from the air. Using wire, you can securely fasten pouches to the inside surfaces of intake and return grates. As the air circulates through the system, the zeolite crystals will sweep in harmful contaminants. Every few months, swap out the pouches for a fresh set and let the used pouches discharge and recharge by placing them outside on a sunny day. Repeat the process a few months later and you will always have a fresh set waiting to keep your indoor environment fresh.

All of our products are highly effective in removing smoke odor without introducing chemicals or fragrances into the environment. For severe smoke problems, such as those experienced in the Southern California fires, removing smoke odor is a time consuming process, but with patience and proper recharging of our zeolite pouches, much can be accomplished. If your home is equipped with central heating/air conditioning, placing pouches in the vents and uptake will continually sweep smoke odor from the air. We suggest that the pouches be cycled out every two weeks and allowed to regenerate and discharge outside on a sunny day. If you do not have a central air system, using household fans and directing the air flow at our pouches can accelerate their effectiveness. Our carpet deodorizer will absorb smoke from your carpeting, and using Liquid Omni-Zorb on carpeting and upholstery that is not harmed by plain water is also highly effective. As the EPA states, zeolite is the best known natural absorbent and should eventually replace charcoal and carbon, however, please be aware that there are no "magic bullet" products that will immediately remove all smoke odor.
